All Stirred Up
Susan Napier’s family once lived well on the success of the high-end restaurants founded by her late grandfather, Elliott. But bad luck and worse management has brought the business and the family to the edge of financial ruin. It’s now up to Susan to save the last remaining restaurant: the flagship, in Edinburgh.
Unbeknownst to Susan, Chris Baker, her grandfather’s former protege and the love of her life, is also preparing to head to the Scottish capitol. Their intense relationship ended messily, leaving Chris embittered and Susan filled with regret. Having found fame in New York as a chef and judge of a popular TV cooking competition, Chris is returning to his native Scotland to open his own restaurant.
Neither Susan nor Chris, full of plans for the future and fleeing the past, expect to see each other at Edinburgh Airport. But when they do, floods of memories, both good and bad, immediately return, forcing both to face their history and reconsider their future.
But as things start to heat up both in and out of the kitchen, meddling family members, a movie star (or two!), a gossip blogger eager for a good story and devastating, long-buried secrets threaten what could be a second chance at a happy ending.
